Details:
This offering is for a new Azusa 36 go kart axle. This is a new Azusa deluxe flexpruf steel step-down axle. I planned on building a vintage kart. I am reducing the price because of corrosion.
The ends are machined down to 3/4 diameter, and the threaded. This should not affect the performance of axle. This can be addressed with some steel wool or similar product. Each key way goes half way the length of axle, and two key ways are 180 degree apart, machined on opposite sides each other.
But father time has caught up to this old guy and I have call it quits on building karts. I took a closeup of the worst area. There is some light corrosion/staining of the finish in various spots. It is machined with the standard 1/4 key way.
